This is the fifth year of the company’s campaign drive, raising $316,000 and 4,690kg of food.
MISSISSAUGA, ON, October 17, 2025 – Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) and its dealer network united to support communities across the country through the 2025 Driving to End Hunger campaign, generating a combined total of $316,000 and more than 4,690 kilograms of food from Mitsubishi Motors Canada and its 97 dealerships.

As part of this year’s efforts, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada made a direct donation to Food Banks Canada at the national level while employees at the company’s head office and Parts Distribution Centre in Mississauga, also contributed food through internal drives and volunteer efforts. Since 2021, MMSCAN and its dealers have donated more than $1.1 million to local and national food bank organizations.

Kirstin Beardsley, Chief Executive Officer, Food Banks Canada, said World Food Day is an important time to “increase awareness of world hunger, food insecurity and poverty to inspire solutions for change, together.”
