Challenger Lifts Introduces Mobile Adapter Cart for Automotive Service Bays

July 28, 2026— Challenger Lifts has introduced its Adapter Cart, a mobile storage system designed to organize lift adapters and accessories while improving efficiency in automotive service bays.

The cart provides centralized storage for lift adapters, footpads, spacers, and other accessories, allowing technicians to move the equipment between service bays rather than retrieving components from multiple storage locations.

“Designed for the realities of a fast-paced shop, the Adapter Cart moves easily from bay to bay, eliminating wasted steps and unnecessary trips across the shop floor,” said Trevor Coleman, national sales manager for Challenger Lifts. “By consolidating everything needed for safe, efficient lifting into one centralized, mobile unit, technicians can stay focused on the job rather than searching for equipment.”

According to the company, the cart is intended for shops servicing a wide range of vehicles by keeping commonly used lifting accessories readily accessible.

The Adapter Cart includes a mobile storage unit equipped with a range of lifting components, including:

  • Four six-inch stack adapters for vehicles equipped with running boards or side steps.
  • Four three-inch stack adapters for moderate lifting height adjustments.
  • Four EV footpads designed to support select electric vehicles while helping protect battery packs and chassis components.
  • Four cab-off adapters with U-channel pads for lifting truck cabs during removal procedures.
  • A GM footpad set designed for 2019–2026 GM half-ton pickup trucks, including Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models.
  • Rubber spacers for height adjustments and contact-point protection.
  • Two three-stage lift arms for improved access to low-profile vehicles.
  • Four replacement footpads.

The company says the mobile design helps reduce setup time, minimize workflow interruptions, and improve organization by keeping lifting accessories close to the work area.
