Cloud-based software combines shop operations with AI-assisted scheduling and connected business tools.
October 26, 2026 — Klipboard has unveiled Autowork, a cloud-based shop management platform designed for independent automotive repair shops, service centres, and tire businesses. The company will demonstrate the software at booth 11109 during the SEMA Show, Nov. 3-6, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Autowork brings appointments, jobs, customer and vehicle records, parts, inventory, tires, and invoicing together in one platform. Its integrated parts catalogue, tire lookup, quoting, and fitted pricing tools are designed to help shops manage fitment and pricing without relying on separate third-party systems.
The platform also incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify daily operations. Its AI-assisted scheduling feature helps shops identify suitable appointment times without manually working through the schedule. Klipboard plans to introduce additional AI capabilities as the platform develops.
“SEMA is where the industry comes to see what’s next, and we’re excited to give shops a first look at Autowork,” said Dean Petrone, CEO of the Americas at Klipboard. “This is a platform built specifically for the realities of running an independent repair shop, and we think it’s going to change how shops think about their day-to-day operations.”
Klipboard said Autowork builds on its experience providing software to the automotive aftermarket. Its existing enterprise platform, Autowork One, supports some of North America’s largest tire and service networks. The new platform uses modern technology and application design to address the operational demands of independent automotive service businesses.
Connected tools for growing businesses
Alongside Autowork, Klipboard will showcase Autowork One, its shop management platform for tire and service networks, and Klipboard DVI, its digital vehicle inspection solution.
The company will also highlight connected e-commerce, payment processing, business intelligence, cloud, and mobile capabilities designed to support automotive businesses as they expand.
“What you’ll see at our booth isn’t just one product. It’s a connected approach,” Petrone said. “Whether you’re a single shop with Autowork or a multi-location network on Autowork One, Klipboard has a path that fits where your business is today and where it’s headed.”
Autowork is aimed at independent, single-location automotive repair shops, service centres, and tire businesses seeking an integrated system to manage daily operations.
The SEMA Show runs Nov. 3-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. Attendees can visit Klipboard at booth 11109 to see the platform in action.
