New 20,000-square-foot operation combines collision repair and ADAS calibration to support increasingly complex vehicle repairs.
October 28, 2026 — CSN Chatham and Apex Auto Calibration Centre celebrated the grand opening of their new 20,000-square-foot facility in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, on Sept. 24, welcoming 235 guests from the community and automotive industry.
The event gave attendees a chance to tour the facility, which reflects years of planning, growth, and investment. Designed to improve workflow and accommodate increasingly complex vehicles, the operation features advanced equipment, streamlined processes, and dedicated vehicle calibration capabilities.
“We’re incredibly excited to finally see this facility come to life,” said Ryan Johnson, co-owner of CSN Chatham and Apex Auto Calibration Centre. “It represents years of hard work, growth, and investment in the future of collision repair in Chatham-Kent. We’ve built this space around the technology, equipment, and training needed to properly repair today’s vehicles, while also creating a workplace our team can be proud of for years to come.”
Manufacturer certifications and advanced repair capabilities
CSN Chatham holds manufacturer certifications from General Motors, Volkswagen, FCA, Ford, Kia, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Genesis, Honda, Acura, Hyundai, and Lexus. The facility also holds I-CAR Gold Class recognition.
These credentials reflect the shop’s investment in technician training, manufacturer-approved repair procedures, and the equipment required to repair modern vehicles safely and correctly.
Adding Apex Auto Calibration Centre expands the operation’s capabilities as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) become increasingly common. By offering specialized calibration services alongside collision repairs, the business can provide customers with a more integrated repair process.
The expanded facility also increases the team’s capacity to serve drivers throughout Chatham-Kent and surrounding communities. Additional space, updated processes, and advanced technology are intended to help the business manage demand, improve workflow, and maintain its focus on customer service.
Community and industry support
The grand opening also recognized the industry partners and local businesses that have supported the operation’s growth. CSN Chatham and Apex Auto Calibration Centre thanked Browns Auto Supply and Akzo Nobel for their ongoing support and partnership.
Sons of Kent Brewing Co. provided food and service for the event, helping welcome guests to the new facility.
The facility marks a significant investment in the business, its employees, and the Chatham-Kent community, positioning the operation to meet the region’s evolving collision repair and vehicle calibration needs.
