Shawn Jamieson, Savannah Gervais, and Willow Lorenz of CARSTAR Barrhaven.
CARSTAR Barrhaven has been approved as a Tesla Structural Certified Collision Centre, joining Tesla’s approved body shop network.
The Ottawa-area collision repair facility said the certification reflects its investment in technician training, repair technology and electric vehicle repair capabilities.
“The number of Tesla vehicles on the road in our community has been growing quickly, and we want to ensure our facility is equipped and trained to support these drivers,” said Shawn Jamieson, vice-president of collision for the Myers Automotive Group.
Jamieson said Savannah Gervais, operations manager, and Willow Lorenz, Tesla services co-ordinator, will oversee the program and support Tesla customers throughout the repair process.
Tesla-certified facilities are required to meet training and equipment standards established by the automaker for structural repairs involving aluminum construction, welding and adhesive bonding systems.
Collin Welsh, senior director for CARSTAR Canada’s Ontario region, said the Barrhaven facility has demonstrated a strong commitment to emerging repair technologies and industry training. For more information, visit CARSTAR.ca.
