ARA Collision/Glass AGM & Trade Show

The Automotive Retailers Association has committed to hosting its inaugural Collision and Glass Trade Show in June 2022.

The message is simple, “Industry is evolving, evolve with it.” With the introduction of ICBC’s repair programs, many shops require access to information. Learn how to gain efficiency, become more profitable, and how management systems can provide much needed oversight. The event agenda also includes the ARA’s collision repair and automotive glass divisions’ annual general meetings and will provide members with the opportunity to be up to date in each specific industry segment.

The synergies between collision and glass are inescapable, especially as it relates to scanning and calibration. The ARA’s members have stepped up, demonstrating their commitment to training and employing the correct tools and infrastructure to support proper repair processes. It is time these members are recognized. One outcome for the show is to have the members of the ARA’s Certified Auto Glass (CAGS) and Collision Repair (CCR) programs begin to utilize the certified services of each other, specifically in cases where they do not offer those services in-house.

The trade show and AGMs will be taking place at the Sheraton Guildford in Surrey, B.C., on June 10 and 11, with keynote speakers Michael Anderson of Collision Advice and Bob Beranek of Automotive Glass Consultants. Both are highly respected in their fields and we anticipate a strong turnout. Advance event registration information and sponsorship packages will be available at events.ara.bc.ca.
