SAAR Spring Conference in Moose Jaw Starts This Weekend

The Saskatchewan Association of Automotive Repairers (SAAR) will be hosting its annual SAAR Spring Conference and Annual General Meeting this weekend, February 10-11, 2023. This year’s event is set to be a lively and informative experience for all attendees.

The conference will kick off with a networking event at Bobby’s Place Olde World Tavern on Friday evening, starting at 6:00 pm. This will be a great opportunity for members to catch up and unwind after a busy work week. With limited space, organizers have asked attendees to consider this a come-and-go event, and are encouraging them to continue their conversations at the casino or mineral spa.

On Saturday, the day will start with a breakfast at the Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa, followed by the SAAR Annual General Meeting starting at 8:00 am. During the meeting, attendees can look forward to informative industry presentations from Sharon Ashley of BodyshopConnect, Craig Alvaro of 3M, and Christy Hall of CARSTAR Canada.

A presentation from the Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) is scheduled for 11:00 am. This presentation will be live-streamed on the SAAR Facebook page for those who cannot attend in person: https://www.facebook.com/saarsk. Representatives from the Automotive Retailers Association (ARA) and the Automotive Trades Association (ATA) of Manitoba will also be presenting updates on their respective provinces.

The day will conclude with a banquet and entertainment, starting at 6:00 pm. This promises to be a great opportunity for members to come together, celebrate their successes, and enjoy a night of fun and relaxation.

“Come prepared to network, be informed and entertained as SAAR continues to provide our members with opportunities for growth,” invite organizers.
