July 31, 2026 — Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Canada has been named the preferred automotive finishes partner for Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Repair Centres in Canada.
The designation recognizes Sherwin-Williams’ refinishing systems, technical training, and support services as meeting the requirements of the Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Repair Program.
Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Repair Centres are required to restore vehicles to manufacturer standards for safety, performance, and finish quality following a collision. According to Sherwin-Williams, the partnership aligns its approved refinishing systems and technical support with the automaker’s certification requirements.
“Mercedes-Benz sets some of the most rigorous repair standards in the industry, and Sherwin-Williams supports Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Centres in meeting those expectations consistently,” said Tim Gallant, senior sales manager for Sherwin-Williams Canada. “Through approved refinishing systems, training, and technical expertise, we help reinforce the quality, precision, and process discipline required to uphold Mercedes-Benz OEM repair standards.”
The companies have an existing relationship within the automotive industry. Sherwin-Williams is also an official team partner and approved supplier of automotive paint and coatings for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.
As part of the partnership, Sherwin-Williams will provide:
- OEM-approved refinishing systems and application processes designed to support colour accuracy, durability, and finish quality.
- Technical training and expertise aligned with Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Repair standards.
- Collision Core integrated digital business tools intended to improve repair workflow, colour management, inventory control, and diagnostic processes.
- Support aligned with the requirements of the Mercedes-Benz Certified Collision Repair Program.
